Director of the IAS, Professor Dragana Mitrovic, took part as an invited speaker at the European Forum for Belt and Road Cooperation held in Budapest on 22 May 2017. The Forum was organised by The European Institute for One Belt One Road Economic and Cultural Cooperation and Development (EUOBOR) and the Pallas Athene Geopolitical Foundation (PAGEO). The European Forum for Belt and Road Cooperation mainly focuses on the relations between Europe and China regarding the Belt & Road Initiative. They tend to cover topics on the challenges of the CEE-China cooperation, analyses of the central Belt and Road Summit in Beijing and projects and development plans along the One Belt One Road area. “The 2017 Forum is the first direct, pragmatic and high-level meeting between Europe and China to discuss the status and future of mutually beneficial cooperation under the “One Belt One Road” Initiative”.
