Dr. Ivan Zaric graduated from the Military Academy in Belgrade, Department of Naval Warfare. He earned a master’s degree from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, specializing in International Relations from the scientific field of Geopolitics and Geostrategy. He also obtained his doctorate from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade with a doctoral dissertation on the topic “Thalassocratic Dimension of Contemporary Chinese Geopolitics.” His scientific work focuses on geopolitical research, with a focus on military power, naval power, strategy, and energy security. He has published several articles and texts related to geopolitical phenomena and processes, covering topics from classical theories to contemporary trends. He is engaged as a part-time and guest lecturer in the field of geopolitics and international relations in several institutions in the Republic of Serbia and Republika Srpska.
